Euro 2008 winners play this world cup's biggest suprise, Which Will Enter World Cup Finals? Semifinals at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday, July 07, 2:30 pm.

In their last meet Spain defeated Germany with 1-0 in European championship 2008. They also beat them 1-0 in the group stage at the 1984 European Championship.

Germany began World Cup Quest with superb victory over Australia with 4-0 but in the second match they lost to Serbia 0-1. After this game they came back strongly and won the Knock out match and Quarter finals by scoring Four goals in each game. The World Cup favorite's Argentina also had no answer for the Germany Forwards.

After losing their first match against Switzerland they showed consistency in the play and won the rest of the games to date, however some only by a one goal margin. David Villa is currently this world cup's top scorer having managed nearly a goal per game. In this match Germany wants to win to take the revenge of European defeat but the Spanish giants aren't going to make it easy .

Cesc Fabregas has been given the all-clear to face Germany in Wednesday's World Cup semi-final, and Liverpool's top scorer Fernando Torres claims he's back at full fitness for wednesday's battle for a place in World cup history, The subdued striker has started the last four games for Spain since recovering from injury, but has been hauled off around the 60-minute mark in every match after failing to make an impact

However, less than 24 hours after a 4-0 quarter-final demolition of Argentina, the two-goal hero Klose has also set his sights in becoming all-time World Cup top scorer.

"I want to score at least five goals at the World Cup. And I will be very satisfied if I score six," Klose told a news conference.

Klose, 32, scored five goals each in 2002 and 2006 and his four in South Africa leave him just one goal shy of the record 15 Brazil's Ronaldo scored 1998, 2002 and 2006.

Competition Stats Germany Spain
Goals Miroslav Klose 4 David Villa 5
Assists Thomas Müller 3 David Villa 1

Yellows Thomas Müller 2 Gerard Piqué 1
Reds Miroslav Klose 1

Not the easiest game to call however I think Germany may struggle with Spain's firepower and their strong defense.
